The Center for Automotive Research is an interdisciplinary research center in The Ohio State University’s College of Engineering. Located just west of Ohio State’s Columbus campus and within 45 miles of the Transportation Research Center, Inc., CAR caters to nearly 100 graduate students with its graduate research assistantships, Graduate Specialization in Automotive Systems Engineering program, many research and development projects and other opportunities to learn from real-world projects. The GS ASE program aims to equip Ohio State graduate students with the specialized knowledge needed for innovation in the automotive industry.
Upon completing their education at CAR, students not only leave having learned the benefits of an interdisciplinary research approach—they are sought to join some of the most innovative leaders in the automotive industry.
