Auto Industry Executives Attend Semi-annual External Advisory Board Meeting

Friday, May 4, 2012 CAR hosted the spring External Advisory Board meeting. Highlights of the meeting included the presentation of the Dwight A. Blaser Meritorious Service Award by Dean David B. Williams. The 2012 recipient is Rick Renwick, Chief Engineer of Engine Design at Ford Motor Company, who has worked extensively with CAR faculty member Ahmet Selamet. Others recognized were industry representatives and students participating in and/or supported by: General Motors GATE Fellowship, Honda-OSU Partnership Program, Chrysler and Ford Blue Oval Scholarship. The afternoon session was presented by Jennifer Cowley, College of Engineering, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Administration. At the conclusion of the meeting, labs opened for viewing.
