Venturi Buckeye Bullet 3 pushes forward despite rain!

Rain and flooding at the Bonneville Salt Flats? No problem; the Venturi Buckeye Bullet team pushes forward.

The team has found a local airport in Wendover, Utah and is using that as home base while waiting for the flats to dry out. Working from an old hangar at the airport--alongside WW2 era planes--the team worked all night last night (09/11/2013) prepping and checking the vehicle after it's 28 hour trip out to Bonneville.

Hoping for dry weather today as the team continues work. And hoping the students get a little shuteye--most of them have been awake 24/7 for the past three days. More photos here.
