Come out to the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) at 930 Kinnear Road on June 20 and 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to take part in Ohio State's third Smart Columbus Ride & Drive Roadshow. Test drive one of the newest electric vehicles on the market - including Hondas, BMWs and Teslas - and learn more about the multi-modal transit options central Ohio has to offer. You must register ahead of time. Drivers must be 21 to test drive a Tesla, 18 to drive all other vehicles. Register now for a ride and drive time and for the car of your choice.

The Ride & Drive Roadshow is your opportunity to join Smart Columbus in leading our community’s shift to electric vehicles and other transportation alternatives. You’ll be guided through an interactive experience about the Smart Columbus initiative and the benefits of electric vehicles. Most important, you’ll have the opportunity test drive one of the many electric vehicles on the market today. At the Ohio State Ride and Drive, you will also have the chance to learn more about mobility options in central Ohio, including COTA, Charge Point, TTM and Clean Fuels Ohio.

As the winner of the U.S. Department of Transportation's (USDOT) first-ever Smart City Challenge, Columbus was awarded $50 million in grant funding and the designation as America's Smart City. The initiative seeks to transform mobility in central Ohio, and change what it's like to live in our community. Ohio State is the primary research partner of Smart Columbus.
